How do I get a quote?+

Call (214) 347-0692. We arrange a consultation, measure your windows, talk through blinds, shades, shutters, drapery or motorized options room by room, and leave a written quote — no pressure to decide on the spot.

Where are you located?+

2101 Cedar Springs Rd Ste 1050, Dallas, TX 75201, in Uptown Dallas. We install across Dallas and the nearby areas listed on our Service Areas page.

What are your hours?+

Call (214) 347-0692 for current hours and to arrange a consultation at a time that suits you.

Which window coverings do you install?+

Window blinds, window shades (roller, cellular, Roman and solar), plantation shutters, drapery and curtains, and motorized window treatments.

Do you bring samples to my home?+

Yes — coverings are chosen against your own glass and your own light. Samples at the consultation show how a fabric or finish actually behaves in the room it will live in.

Can I mix coverings — shutters in one room, shades in another?+

That is the normal plan. Most Dallas homes mix: shutters or drapery where the room deserves them, shades and blinds where light control and budget lead. The written quote prices the mix room by room.

Faux wood or real wood blinds — which should I choose? (Window Blinds)+

Faux wood for wet and steamy rooms and for whole-home value; real wood where weight, grain and finish matter most — living rooms, studies, primary bedrooms. Most Dallas homes mix the two, and we price both at the consultation so the difference is a number, not a guess.

Are cordless blinds worth it? (Window Blinds)+

In homes with children or pets, yes — cordless removes the cord hazard entirely and looks cleaner. It is the lift we recommend as standard. For very wide or high windows, motorized tilt is the other upgrade worth pricing.

Solar shades or blackout shades — which do I need? (Window Shades)+

Solar shades are for living: they filter glare and UV and keep the view. Blackout shades are for sleeping: they kill light for bedrooms, nurseries and media rooms. Most Dallas homes run solar or light-filtering in living areas and blackout in bedrooms — samples at the consultation make the split obvious.

Do cellular shades really insulate? (Window Shades)+

Yes — the honeycomb pockets trap still air at the glass, which is real insulation, and it works in both directions: against Dallas summer heat gain and against winter chill off the pane. West and north rooms feel the difference most.

What louver size should I choose? (Plantation Shutters)+

Wider louvers (3.5–4.5 in) give the open, modern view and suit larger windows and taller ceilings; narrower louvers (2.5 in) suit traditional rooms and smaller windows. We bring samples — held against your own windows, the right size usually chooses itself.

Wood or composite shutters for a Dallas home? (Plantation Shutters)+

Wood for living rooms, studies and primary suites — lighter, stronger across wide spans, and stainable. Composite for bathrooms, kitchens and laundry rooms where steam and splashes are daily life, and for stretching a whole-home budget. Many homes mix the two by room.

Should my drapery be working or stationary? (Drapery & Curtains)+

It depends on the room. Stationary side panels give the tailored, finished look for less fabric cost, with a shade or blind underneath doing the daily work — the most common Dallas living-room plan. Bedrooms usually deserve fully working, blackout-lined panels that close. We price both honestly at the consultation.

How long should drapery panels be? (Drapery & Curtains)+

The tailored standard is panels that just kiss the floor; a slight break (an extra half-inch to an inch) reads relaxed and luxurious; puddling is a deliberate, formal choice that needs the room to suit it. We measure to your floor — which is rarely as level as it looks — and show you each length against your window.

Battery or hardwired motors — which is right for my home? (Motorized Window Treatments)+

Battery for most existing homes: no wiring, clean retrofit, rechargeable batteries that typically run months between charges. Hardwired for new construction, major remodels and large banks of shades that move together daily. We match the power to each window honestly at the consultation.

Can I control motorized shades from my phone or by voice? (Motorized Window Treatments)+

Yes — app control is standard on the systems we install, and voice scenes through the major smart-home platforms can be added. Our advice is to spec what you will actually use daily: for most households that is remote plus app, with timers for the west glass.
